Have you ever wondered why, just when you had found a product you really loved, it would suddenly be discontinued? This has happened to me more times than I can count, but when my favorite lip balm could no longer be found I decided I had to do something.
Since I was young teenager, my grandmother supplied me with Prevention Magazines. I read them all. She touted the importance of natural vitamins and supplements, and taught me which herbs were good for what ailments. She loved anything/everything nature, and she taught me as much as my brain could absorb, about healthy, all natural living. Hers was the first compost pile I ever saw. She had literally accumulated a mountain of humus when she died, which I eagerly shoveled onto my truck and brought home. She never used chemical fertilizers or pesticides on her garden and it thrived. She made her own yogurt and wine as well, and both were fabulous. I tried my best to mimic everything she did and I guess, I am still to this day. Anything I have made of myself, my family or this business, I owe to her. She taught me to live, to love, to laugh and even to paint. And she showed me Jesus.
That being said, it was not a big stretch for me to decide that if I could not find what I wanted or needed, I could learn to make it. Knowing that anything that goes on our skin goes into our bloodstream in a matter of minutes makes you very careful about just what exactly, you rub on yourself. We use no store bought soaps, lotions, deodorants or antiperspirant. Now, please don?t think we are a dirty, smelly lot. We have found out quickly that things of nature not only make you feel better, they make you look better and smell better, too.
After studying for many years, the "art" of soap and lip balm making, and researching the multitudes of essential oils and herbs, AND after many Trials and Errors, we finally came up with our Tried and True soaps and balms. We have not used a single frivolous, extravagant or unnecessary ingredient in our products. Every single ingredient has a very useful purpose, and each does it's job to perfection. We have been blessed to have created the greatest soaps and lip balms we have ever used, and we are very proud to share them with you.

To teach us His care for us, Jesus said, "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? (Luke 12:6).
"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And not one of them shall fall to the ground without your Father." (Matthew 10:29).
Two sparrows, one farthing; five sparrows, two farthings. In other words, for two farthings an extra sparrow was tossed in to make a bargain. The one sparrow had no value at all. That one sparrow, the sparrow the dealer was willing to toss in just for the sake of a sale - that sparrow does not fall to the ground without the Father's knowledge. That is, God attends the funeral of even such a valueless thing as that.
That is how detailed His care. That is Grace.. . . for His eye is on One Sparrow, and I know He watches me.
