Good Sense Frankincense

International laboratory research has demonstrated frankincense essential oil's ability to SHUT DOWN CANCER cells without harming healthy cells. It shuts the cancer cells down by probing the nucleus and resetting the cancerous DNA to normal cellular DNA.

This research is considered preliminary within mainstream medical authority and FDA guidelines. A leading researcher on the frankincense project, Dr. Mahmoud Suhail, says that there are 17 active ingredients in frankincense, but many scientists think Boswellic acid is the main cancer cell eliminator.

Dr. Suhail disagrees, so he's experimenting with the ingredients to determine which one or ones should be isolated. This would benefit Big Pharma, enabling them to create a profitable patented cancer drug based on frankincense after years of testing.

What about simply using the essential oil from high quality frankincense, such as Boswellia Sacra?

The research cover story is that they want to make sure they have the right ingredient or ingredients and to eliminate unnamed allergenic agents that are not actively involved with killing cancer cells. In Oman, however, where many use abundantly grown frankincense, there are no cancer patients in either of the two hospitals. (YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!!!) Also, there are no serious allergic reactions among them. Conversely, there are many adverse side effects from pharmaceuticals and chemotherapy.

So the cover story is bogus. Harmful side effects haven't slowed Big Pharma's pursuit of big bucks in the least. Profitable FDA approved patented medications require laboratory synthesis. Natural solutions can't be patented.

At least one informal human trial has been reported using only natural frankincense essential oil. A person with bladder cancer had considerable improvement within two weeks of using frankincense essential oil.  Frankincense essential oils are also currently being used in some European hospitals to bolster immunity and elevate moods.

Postpartum Blues Spray

Geranium or bergamot essential oils are excellent to prevent post-partum depression, so dilute  2-3 drops in a small spray bottle or diffuse around the room to help balance all those adjusting hormones. A small spray bottle with this concoction is another great gift for a new mommy.

Healing Postpartum Bath Salts

Regular ionized table salt is wonderfully healing for sour and stretched muscles after birth. Plan to take 1-2 baths per day after birth to soak in a tub with 1 cup of salt. Add a few drops of lavendar, geranium or orange essential oil for a delightful pick-up.

Postpartum Care Pads

Witch hazel is your best friend for the postpartum healing period. Witch hazel can be used on swollen body parts (birth gives your body quite the beating), varicose veins, and makes a wonderful treatment for two obnoxious new mama problems – a sore perineum and hemorrhoids. These soothing pads do wonders for soreness and swelling after vaginal birth. Prepare 18-24 ahead of time.

Overnight/Jumbo maxi pads
1/4 cup Witch hazel
2-3 drops Lavender oil
1 Tbsp Pure Aloe Vera gel
Aluminum foil

Combine witch hazel, lavender essential oil, and aloe vera gel in a small bowl and mix till thoroughly combined. Transfer to a small spray bottle. Unfold each pad, and spray each pad with the healing mixture till the pad is damp, but not soaked. Wrap each pad in foil and store them in the freezer. Witch hazel and lavender are natural astringents, so they’ll help reduce swelling, and the aloe and the cold are very soothing.
